Frequently Asked Questions

Clients seek therapy for many reasons. I commonly work with concerns such as:
Anxiety, stress, and overwhelm
Depression or low mood
Relationship and communication difficulties
Family-of-origin and intergenerational issues
Grief and loss
Life transitions (career changes, parenthood, midlife reflection)
Identity exploration and cultural stressors
High-pressure or high-achieving environments
Emotional regulation and coping skills
If you’re unsure whether your concern fits, you’re welcome to reach out to discuss it.

The length of therapy varies depending on your goals, needs, and the nature of what you’re working through. Some clients come for short-term support around a specific concern, while others engage in longer-term therapy to explore deeper or long-standing patterns.
Many clients find therapy most helpful over several months, with some choosing to continue over time or return during periods of transition. We will regularly check in about your goals and adjust the pace and focus of therapy as needed.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes. Frequency is usually weekly, though this may change as therapy progresses.
-
Therapy sessions are collaborative and conversational. I aim to create a space that feels safe, thoughtful, and non-judgmental. Sessions may involve:
Exploring current concerns or life stressors
Reflecting on emotional patterns and relational dynamics
Developing insight and practical coping strategies
Identifying meaningful next steps between sessions
At times, I may offer gentle structure, questions, or reflections to help deepen understanding or support change.

My fee is $225 for a 50-minute therapy session.
Therapy is an investment of both time and resources, and I encourage prospective clients to consider whether this fee aligns with their needs and circumstances. If you have questions about fit or would like to discuss getting started, you’re welcome to reach out for a consultation.

I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan.
Working outside of insurance can offer greater privacy and flexibility, as insurance companies often require a mental health diagnosis and may place limits on treatment. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider directly to learn more about your out-of-network benefits.

To get started, you can reach out through the contact form on my website or by email. We’ll discuss your needs, answer any initial questions, and determine next steps.

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or thoughts of harming yourself or others, please call 911 or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for immediate support.
